What Is Ramadhan?
Ramadan in arabic رمضان is the ninth month of the lunar Islamic Calender, which lasts for 29 to 30 days according to the visual sightings of the crescent moon.The word Ramadan comes from the Arabic root “ramida” or “ar-ramad,” which means scorching heat or dryness. It is the Muslim month of fasting, in which Muslims keep themselves away from dawn until sunset from eating drinking and sexual relationships.In Islam, the thawab or sawab (rewards) are multiplied in the month of Ramadhan that makes Muslims all over the world to pray and do good deeds.
